INVOLVEMENT IN PROFESSIONAL SHOWS

Within the context of training sessions, AUTOPOÏÉSIS, école d’art FELDENKRAIS® has enjoyed some very stimulating cultural partnerships.

PARTNERSHIP WITH OMNIBUS AND SONOMUSA

Solo creations, the result of work sessions with Odette Guimond, were subsequently produced by professional companies.

June 2002: Le Fil de soi, solo creation of Denise Boulanger, in Intérieurs/Femmes, an initial version of the show produced by Omnibus and presented the following autumn at Espace libre.

July 2002: The Vibration of Wisdom, solo creation of Laur Fugère, produced by Sonomusa at the Toronto Fringe Festival.

PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MARGUERITE BOURGEOYS MUSEUM

From 2000 to 2004, as part of professional development workshops offered by AUTOPOÏÉSIS, five theatrical creations were developed at the request of the producer, the Marguerite Bourgeoys Museum. Written and directed by Odette Guimond, these shows offered young professional artists the opportunity to present the plays in both French and English each summer, four afternoons a week for about four months.

Summer 2000: Le Parcours de Marguerite ... dans l’espace du Musée / Marguerite’s Journey … in the Museum. Interpreted by Patrice Bélanger, Vladana Milicevic, Marie-Hélène Racicot. Flautist: Audrey Malette. Costumes: Mireille Couture and Annie Gélinas.

Summer 2001: L’École des Femmes de Marguerite / Learning with Marguerite. Interpreted by Marie-Ève Bibeau, Vladana Milicevic, Karine Poulin, Daniel Roy. Costumes: Annie Gélinas. Soundscape: Laur Fugère.

Summer 2002: La Chapelle de Marguerite / Marguerite’s Chapel. Interpreted by Martin Boisclair, Mélissa Dion-Des Landes, Émilie Gauvin, Catherine Richer. Costumes: Annie Gélinas. Soundscape: Laur Fugère.

Summer 2003: La grande traversée / Toward a New World. Interpreted by Marie-Ève Bibeau, Martin Boisclair, Stéphanie Lépine, Daniel Roy. Costumes: Annie Gélinas. Lighting: Marie-Andrée Lemire.

Summer 2004: Les Pionnières / Pioneer Women. Interpreted by Guillaume Baillargeon, Diane Beaulieu, Maia Loinaz, Isabelle Leclerc. Costumes: Marie-Andrée de Courval and Annie Gélinas. Lighting: Marie-Andrée Lemire.
